Day 1: Ogtong Cave Resort (Monday, September 12, 2011, 5:30pm)

Since we all decided to stay in Ogtong Cave Resort after almost a whole day of travelling we rested for a while and all of us ready our things for our 3 days and 2 nights stay in that resort. For our first activity, hence as if there was a timeline to follow, we went to the pool for a night swimming. Israel took some pictures of the resort while the four of us (mel, bhogs, dayan and me) enjoyed the pool and sometimes poses before Ice to take our pictures.

Here are some of the photo’s from Israel’s camera:

Then came dinner time Bhogs was the one to check on the Menu at the resort’s restaurant. We had such a delicious dinner while sharing stories like we never shared before and laugh our lungs out as if it was the last time we will laugh. It was a dinner we all enjoyed not just because of the scrumptious food but definitely because we shared that moment together.

Day 2: From Ogtong Cave to Kota Beach Resort (Tuesday, September 13, 2011)

Our second day in the island was tiring but fulfilling. We enjoyed the serenity of the Island as we visited two of the most famous beach resort in the island. But before travelling we visited the cave inside the resort. The Ogtong Cave, that explains the name of the resort, the cave was located few steps right beside the pool and it was situated under the restaurant. The water was as clear as a mirror and was as warm as that of the faucet. Though we didn’t spend too much time under the cave for we have a schedule to follow it was indeed one of the most remembered parts of that tour. And after visiting and enjoying the waters of the cave we went to the Virgin Resort which was in the nearby island the Hilantangan Island. We snorkel for an hour. But sad to say I didn’t enjoy that activity not because I am not fond of the creatures underwater, oh my!!! Really I wanted to play with Nemo and his friend’s hahahaha, but I am just too afraid to snorkel though I know we were on a life jacket. That fact doesn’t lessen my scare of water. Anyway, my friends did enjoy that activity most specially Mel and Dianne. They both had fun regaling the fishes underwater and looking at the corals which I never had a sight of (poor me). But since there was an internet connection I decided instead to read tweets and tweet what was happening to us while we were there. Thanks to Twitter. Lucky me friends are online to have a chit-chat with. Then I learned that Shamcey Supsup was competing for the Miss Universe 2011 and so I called on Bhogs and read the tweets which excites the girl in him and so by our request we headed back to Sta. Fe Beach Club to watch the pageant and not enjoying the Island and the fishes and the corals underwater (we are such a biatch). The three of them can’t argue but obliged themselves instead. After the pageant since we all got disappointed by the result we decided to take some pictures and pose before Ice’s camera and holah! smile and forget what just happened.

Here again are our pictures taken by Israel Corda.

After lunch we headed to Kota Beach Resort where we had fresh buko juice. The afternoon was spent chit chatting and drinking Mel’s own mix of boracay rhum. While Dianne rested and Ice as usual took some
pictures of the resort. Bhogs slept too. Before the day ends we went back to Ogtong Cave Resort to prepare for our dinner. We tried the food in the town proper. We ate at Arjay and May Sutukil. And since its gonna be Mel’s birthday tomorrow and we all agreed to celebrate in advance after going back to our room Dianne obliged herself to mix liquor for us since she wont be drinking for she is not really feeling well. While the four of us “boys” played some card games and drunk our selves for Mel. hahahaha :p Before capping the night off we took some time to enjoy the view outside and had some serious talks.

Here are some of our photo’s taken at Kota Beach while enjoying the fresh Buko Juice.

Our last day including our experience in Hagnaya Port will be posted on a different page here in my blog.
